How to Watch Live TV on Your Cell Phone
There are no secrets to watching live TV on your cell phone, and this is possible through native or downloaded apps. In the past, smartphones came with a built-in TV viewing function, some even including an antenna for better tuning, similar to radio apps. However, over the years these functions have become less and less common in devices.
But the demand still exists, and with those people in mind, we’ve selected some apps so you can watch live TV on your mobile phone:
1. SBT+ (Android / iOS)
The official app of Silvio Santos’s popular “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire ?” channel! This is already implied by the app’s name. The app is quite complete, but not complex; it’s very simple and intuitive. Therefore, it’s easy to use for people familiar with similar apps, or even for beginners.
Through it, you can watch what you missed on SBT’s programming schedule, as well as watch live programming. In addition, the app has categories, for example: Reality, Sports, etc., making it easier for the user to find their favorite programming.
The app is published by the broadcaster itself, therefore guaranteeing security for users! Below I will leave the link to download the SBT+ app for Android and iOS:
2. BandPlay (Android / iOS)
The official app of TV Bandeirantes, as the name indicates. Through it, you can watch many programs that have already aired on TV, that is, what you missed due to lack of time, etc. You can also watch the channel’s live content!
Through it, you can favorite your preferred programming, making it easier to find later. An interesting feature of this app is a second screen that allows users to comment on the programming, enabling them to participate in polls running on the channel.
The app is from Band itself, which lends it greater credibility and extra confidence in its security. Below are the download links for the BandPlay app for Android and iOS:
3. Record+ (Android / iOS)
The official Record TV app, which offers both a free and a paid account option. The free plan includes simultaneous streaming of Record TV, local programming from your state, and excerpts from Record’s live programming, such as soap operas, news programs, and reality shows, in case you miss the live broadcast.
The Paid plan (R$ 12.90): In addition to having all the content of the free plan, it allows the user to watch full episodes of their favorite reality shows, soap operas, series and news programs, as well as some original productions made exclusively for the App, and allows up to 4 simultaneous screens per account.
Since this is the official app from the broadcaster, it guarantees the user extra security for their data, especially since it requires a subscription. Below are the links to download the app on Android and iOS:
4. GloboPlay (Android / iOS)
Globo Play is one of the best-known and most complete on this list. Besides having all of Rede Globo’s content, although some parts require a subscription to access, it also features other content, series, movies, cartoons…
For those who don’t want a subscription, it’s still possible to watch Globo content live for free in some cities! But you need to be in Brazilian territory! If you’d like to learn about subscription plans, prices, and benefits, click here.
